I’ve been watching this for a while now and it seems to be getting better. It’s a freeware synth and patch editor and librarian that uses Java RTE. The list of supported synths isn’t vast but it does include my beloved DX27 !

Give it a go, and if you are that way inclined try and support it and maybe develop new drivers to increase the number of instruments it can be used with :o)
