My MPC500
Here’s a quick pic of my MPC500 atop my Fusion. I hope to do a Shepitology style vid either tomorrow or sometime over the weekend so you guys can get a better idea of what it is capable of :o)

Aww the mpc500 is getting a right bashing on MusicThing, and so are you it seems… and they say hiphop doesnt promote violence then.
Ha Ha !! Yes, there seems to be very few grey areas when it comes to the baby MPC.
What amazes me is that there is a large faction of haters who have never even seen an MPC500 in the flesh, let alone used one, yet they feel qualified to comment on it. And to get that heated under the collar about an inanimate metal box is just silly !
I know I was guilty of a few choice comments there, but probably being the only one who has commented that actually has one of these, I felt I was justified ;o)
And the whole hip hop thing is equally astounding. Go on the MPC Forum and try to have an intelligent debate and they’ll ask you to leave because you don’t speak the patois !!! It’s unbelieveable !
Anyway, I have one, sat here in front of me and it’s great fun. It looks really cute too ;o)

It’s amazing how many people hate without ever having spent time with ANY mpc, let alone the new one.
I’d like to say it was a pleasure Tom, but it’s quite sad, as you say, how people who have no idea what they are talking about, all of a sudden become the worlds leading authority on the matter ! ;o)

As soon as I’m moved and sorted I’ll do it. It’s not that I don’t necessarily have time but if the missus catches me wasting that precious time making geeky gear slut vids, I get a verbal barrage and loads of stress related threats and comments ! LOL ;o)
