Jiggery Pokery presents the Retrospective ReFill

Retrospective Rack

I am sooooo glad this is finally out there!! 🙂 Finally, a ReFill featuring virtually the entire Hollow Sun vintage library, exclusively licensed to Jiggery Pokery.

If anyone is in any doubt as to the awesomeness of this particular ReFill, let me reassure you it is probably up there with the handful of absolute ‘must have’ ReFills. I am serious here. Your library truly needs this ReFill if you have any interest in classic, vintage synthesis.

JP is pleased to present the archive of classic and esoteric electronica, licensed from HS, in an exclusive package for Reason. The Retrospective Refill has been four decades in the making!

(Theme from) Retrospective by The Quixotes

I’ve been around these sounds for many years, and I’ve always longed for the entire library to be in a ReFill. I first came across these back in the days when Hollow Sun was giving some of these samples away for free. It’s because of these sounds that I met Steve Howell and we became good friends. A friendship that persists to this day. I’ve seen these sounds grow from Akai patches, through to VSTi’s, Kontakt and now, finally, Reason.

Myself and my musical cohort, Micky Dodds, have been honoured to have been testing this ReFill this past month and I still cant’ get over the fact I now have a complete licensed Hollow Sun library in Reason, but also what a fantastic job Matt has done with these sounds, including the superb Combinators he has fashioned.

This, I am sure, will go down as one of the most essential ReFill libraries of all time.

And at £39.95, it’s simply a mind blowing bargain. Go add up the cost of all of those machines featured in here, be it new or second hand, and you would need a small fortune. But here are all the best sounds, beautifully packaged and presented for forty quid!! Remarkable.
