200th Post !!!
Well, here we are !
200 posts in !
It all started over two years ago. Monday, April 25th 2005 to be precise. This was my first post. Subsequent posts followed similar theme’s as I got certain things off my chest, but it was Tom of Music Thing fame that sent me an email telling me to concentrate on what I seemed to do best and that was focusing on the music side of things. So, thanks Tom, but you still don’t list me on your “YOU MAY ALSO ENJOY” list of favourite blogs !! Grrrr !!!
Anyway, I’d like to apologise for the occasional periods of silence. Having a job where extensive travel and time away from home and a decent internet connection can wreak havoc with a bloggers way of life. I do try, I really do, but please stick with me. Hopefully, the posts I do make are worth coming back for :o)
I’ve also made some good friends through this place (no names mentioned as you’ll all get bitchy and hate me for not saying your name first !) so, if anything, that fact alone has made it worthwhile !
Well, I hope you like Failed Muso and what it has become. Here’s to another 200 posts of weird instruments, obscure YouTube videos and babes that play synths along with a healthy dose of my opinions and ramblings, with a garnish of input from our loyal readership !
Thanks for sticking around :o)

Well done Rob! 🙂 I’ve been reading since… well since whenever I left my first comment (had to do with your old studio). I used visit every day but then I started using RSS and Atom feeds (in case you ever wondered why I dropped off your stat counter), so dont worry boy, I’m always keeping an eye on you 😉
To hell with Tom, your on my list and I outrank him (needs citation).
Heres looking forward to another 200 posts!
Gee…(sniff)…thanks..(sniff)
;o)
Good to have your input as always :o)
yeah. Tom never acknowledged me at all so at least you got something from him (it’s sounds as if he’s the pope of music blogs or something…)
Anyway great blog even better if you’d share more about your work with Hollow Sun and all the groovy equipment you get.
Here’s for 2,000 more!!!
I’d love to share more, but a lot of what we do is covered by non-disclosure agreements and I don’t fancy havin’ a rottweiler lawyer chewing my nuts off ;o)
I always try to tell as much as I can :o)
