An underwhelming gear purchase…

Normally, when I buy something new, I get a bit giddy, write blog posts about it and such like. Now, although I am posting about this, I’m far from giddy. Decidedly underwhelmed, to be honest, but it’s a necessary acquisition nonetheless.
