Propellerhead dive back into the 80s with the PX7

Out of the blue this week, the mighty Propellerhead Software unleashed its latest Rack Extension, the PX7. Clearly an homage to Yamaha’s ubiquitous FM classic, the DX7, this software recreation is pretty damned faithful, both in looks and performance. So much so that Propellerhead have made it compatible with existing DX7 patches which can be quickly and freely converted using their online drag and drop converter. Take your old DX7 .SYX files, drop them on to the window, give it a few seconds to digest and then it spits out a zip file containing the converted files in .repatch format, ready to drop right into PX7.
