The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories)

I hope to review this album as soon as it lands on my doormat, but I had to share the quite remarkable lead single/title track as well as the stunning video that accompanies it.

Steven Wilson is not a name you might hear that often, but in the world of ‘neo-prog rock’ and hi-res/multi-channel audio, he certainly is a god amongst men. I’ll save the full history for the review but suffice to say, this man is a bit of a god-like genius and this new album, his third as a solo artist, is garnering rave reviews and firmly cementing that status of his.

Engineered by the legendary Alan Parsons, ‘The Raven That Refused To Sing (And Other Stories)’ is a collection of 6 songs but running in at a shade under an hour in total, all based on tales of the supernatural. Released in multiple formats, including CD, Vinyl, DVD-V and Blu Ray and featuring stereo, 5.1 and high resolution mixes, this is already being hailed as a classic.

Take a look at the visually stunning video and enjoy the moving and melancholy title track. Watch out for the review in the next week or so 🙂
