Fairlight Legacy Refill Update

So, I am conscious that this doesn’t turn into a blog JUST about this amazing product, but all the time there are developments on it, they will be reported here! 😉

Just got an email from Patrick telling me he has now set up a tiny corner of the interwebs as a bit of a landing page to promote the Refill. Nothing fancy (as yet) and contains all you need to know and all the relevant links.

So, I took delivery of my copy on Tuesday of this week and can now start delving into the depths of this library. It is worth pointing out something straight away for all existing and prospective purchasers though. You MUST download the Supremacy Refill, which is 100% free, to get the absolute most out of this library. The Supremacy Refill contains 300+ more patches than contained on the Legacy Refill. It’s best to describe the Library as coming in two sections: Legacy provides you with the sampled material, Supremacy provides you with the patches. I’m quickly finding that once I had both installed, I rarely dipped into the Legacy Refill for patches as they are all contained in Supremacy, along with all the additional ones. Patrick fully intends to update Supremacy with new patches, created by himself and by other users, so if you come up with something really cool, be sure to send it to Patrick for inclusion and he will credit you accordingly.

The Supremacy Refill (which is 100% free and contains a number of demo patches and songs) is now available on the PowerFX website, along with the full Legacy Library.

Once I start getting to grips with this, expect some songs to appear soon 😉
