Hypersynth HCard-705 Demo

Dedicated RAM Cartridges for the Yamaha DX1 and DX5

I was recently approached by the team at Hypersynth to make a demo video for their new HCard 705 cartridge pack for the Yamaha DX1 and DX5 synths. These carts, as well as being able to hold 400 banks of 32 patches (Voices or Performances) each, also come with the first ever 3rd party commercial patches for the DX1 and DX5! Since the DX1 was launched at the back end of 1983, and the DX5 some 18 months later, there has never been any specific patches for these machines supplied outside of the factory presets! And they are really good patches too!

Rather than being a demo of the sounds, something Hypersynth have done really well themselves (see below), the team wanted a video that explained how to use the carts, especially how to install these fantastic new Performance patches. And so here it is!
