Synthfest U.K. Update!

Latest News Regarding My Appearance At Synthfest U.K. 2019

With just 36 hours before Synthfest U.K. opens its doors for the 4th time, I realised that I hadn’t updated you lovely lot on what I’m going to be doing and the latest developments.

You may recall that I have been invited to give a seminar talk on the Fairlight CMI, something I am very much looking forward to. But I’m even more excited now because, with the help of the wonderful team at Sound on Sound magazine, we’ve been able to secure the services of none other than the British production legend, Steve Levine! Steve will be joining me on stage to talk about his time using the Fairlight CMI in his work.

Steve is probably best known for his work with Culture Club, producing their first three, massive albums. But Steve has worked with other greats such as The Beach Boys, Gary Moore, China Crisis, The Creatures and many more.

So it will be an enlightening discussion, mixed in with some of the history of the machine and, hopefully, some sonic snippets too!

The talk starts at 1pm in the main seminar room and the capacity is 300, so there will be a queuing ticket system in place, so get there in good time.

Before and after the talk, I will be on the IK Multimedia stand, demonstrating their brilliant UNO Synth & UNO Drum. Even if you’ve seen these units before, make sure you come and see us as there maybe some interesting stuff to see! There will also be some great show deals available from the authorised retailers on-site.
