My Moses moment…

Trevor Horn

I’m not a religious person. I’m the furthest away from religion that any man can be. However, I respect the importance of certain religious events to members of each and every one of the numerous faiths of this world. To Christians in their version of world events, when God spoke to Moses, it was a monumental moment that still impacts their way of life today.

And so, for me, when Trevor Horn speaks, if you are a musician of any kind, you sit the fuck up and take notice. He’s not the most prolific man when it comes to interviews, preferring to just get on and do his job that he does better than anyone else, in my humble opinion. But just lately, Trevor seems to be coming out of his shell more, which for us, is fantastic news. So when Trevor flew out to Madrid earlier this month to lecture at this year’s Red Bull Music Academy, it was an ideal opportunity to sit and listen to the master discuss his work, his history and his view on music. And those amazing guys at the Red Bull Music Academy are as generous as always by posting the whole shebang on Vimeo for us 🙂
