Martika officially endorses the Fairlight CMI 30A!

Just announced, via her vLog, by Martika and Fairlight Instruments, the Aussie firm can now lay claim to it’s first official endorsement. Martika has taken delivery of a CMI 30A and will be using it on her forthcoming project “The Mirrorball”, released on the 12th February 2012.

For those that don’t know, Martika rose to fame back in 1988 with her massive single “Toy Soldiers“, that was recently used by Eminem as a backing to his track, “Like Toy Soldiers“. She went on to work with Prince on her album “Martika’s Kitchen”, that spawned the hit single, “Love, Thy Will Be Done” and then promptly vanished into relative obscurity. Over the last decade she has tried numerous projects with varying degrees of success but next year’s album release looks like it could be about to be her time again. I, of course, wish her the very best of luck 🙂
