Kate Bush – 50 Words for Snow
I dunno… you wait years for a new Kate Bush album and then two come along at once.
I bet if you searched Google, that phrase is being used ad nauseum to herald the release tomorrow of the new studio album, her tenth, by England’s most amazing and influential artist of all time, male or female, entitled “50 Words for Snow”
Well, if you can’t wait till midnight, National Public Radio in America have a full stream available, as well as smaller individual streams for each of the seven, very lengthy tracks, the shortest of which comes in at a fraction under seven minutes. Featuring collaborations with Elton John, Stephen Fry and her 12 year old son Bertie, this is Kate back to her magical best after many felt that Aerial was a bit hit and miss. Trust me, 50 Words for Snow, a concept album where each song is about the white fluffy stuff and related topics such as the Yeti and snowmen, is utterly spellbinding and will make you tingle in places you never knew you had!
