The Fairlight CMI 30A in action
In the first of a number of videos hosted by Father Fairlight himself, Peter Vogel, we can now see some detailed action of the functionality of the new Fairlight CMI 30A. The interaction between lightpen and screen is very cool but nice to see that mouse usage is an option. There’s barely any actual audio coming from the CMI itself, save for a few bass tones, but the visuals are mouthwatering, especially the 3D rendering of the waveforms. Oh, what I’d give to sit down at one of these and lock the door behind me…
