Yamaha GS-1 in action !

Check out Japanese synth jazz band Cosmos. The lady in the middle is sitting at a rare Yamaha GS1, one of Yamaha’s first ever production FM synths (pre-DX7), which normally looks like this…(pictured here with an ultra rare programmer on top, one of only four apparently)

..and her solo noodling is on a lovely Yamaha CS01 with a breath controller. Try spotting the other synths. It does seem that they heavily endorse Yamaha 😉
