Zampled Euphonic Strings ReFill for Reason

It has been brought to my attention that this library may be of dubious provenance. In recent years, some individuals have brought their expertise to bear on a number of sample libraries and have shown that the source of the sampled material may not be as claimed by the library developer or publisher. I was made aware of one particular claim that Zampled’s Euphonic Strings may be one such library. Whilst there does not yet appear to be any conclusive evidence that the content of Euphonic Strings has been directly copied from another product, the evidence I have been shown is pretty compelling.

As such, I wanted to make readers of this article, an article that was written entirely in good faith at the time, aware that such a claim exists. I purchased this product with my own funds and reviewed it purely as a consumer.

The Zampled website is no longer active and the product is still available for sale through the Reason Studios store.

In the interests of full disclosure, I also participated in a legitimate affiliate marketing scheme involving Euphonic Strings whereby I received a small kickback from any sales generated via a specific link to the Zampled store at the time. Having checked my records, only handful of sales were made in this way and the funds I received, which I believe were 10% of the paid price, were minimal.

Therefore, I would urge any prospective purchasers of this library to exercise due caution before committing to buy. I would also point out that no accusations of impropriety are being made by myself, but simply a declaration of ‘caveat emptor’.
