Fairlight Series III Media
Here are a few pictures of the various disks and datasettes that came with the Series III. Looking closely at the titles, there is definitely some intriguing stuff contained in here. All disks and tapes look in great condition. Let’s hope that nothing has become magnetically damaged.
wow.. lots of amazing disks there.. umm you might remember q while ago the ebay sale of some well known Fairlight song disks.. and they went for a LOT !!… just sayin’ 🙂

I was approached by the eventual buyers and managed to point them in the right direction to get the discs read and converted, as they were PSB collectors who had no access to a Fairlight 🙂
As for these discs, well I don’t think there’s as much on here that’s as historically important. But from looking at the labels, there are some discs that reference Ian’s work with Bryan Adams on his “Into The Fire” LP, as well as some other tantalising TFF related references. However, until we get a new floppy drive fitted and the tape streamer restored, we won’t know for sure what has survived. Personally, I think there’s more on the hard disk drive but we’ve yet to discover whether that still works, and if it does, whether any of the contents have survived.
